The AFQT (Armed Forces Qualification Test) is a percentile derived from four ASVAB subtests — Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning, and Mathematics Knowledge — and gates eligibility for every U.S. military branch. Active-duty floors as of 2026-05-09: Army 31, Navy 31, Marines 32, Air Force 31, Space Force 31, Coast Guard 36. Most line-score MOS and rate minimums sit on top of those floors.
