AFOQT composite estimator

Enter how many you got right on each subtest of a practice test. We convert them into estimated composite percentiles with the same model the app uses. It is an estimate: the Air Force does not publish its norms.

Correct answers per subtest (out of the official number of questions):

How the estimate works

Each subtest's share correct is compared with an assumed typical performance for that subtest; the composite averages its subtests (per the official composite table) and converts the result to a 1–99 percentile. The assumptions are listed on our methodology page. Real AFOQT percentiles come from AFPC's reference-group norms, which aren't public — use this to compare yourself with yourself over time, not as a prediction.

FAQ

Is this my official AFOQT score?

No. It is an estimate from our own model. Official composite percentiles come only from AFPC.

Why does one wrong answer move the Pilot estimate a lot?

Subtests like Instrument Comprehension are short, so each question is a larger share of the subtest.
