What is a passing ASVAB score for the Army?
The ASVAB has no pass/fail mark — the AFQT is a 1–99 percentile, and each branch sets its own floor. For the United States Army that floor is AFQT 31 for a tier-1 applicant (high-school diploma), verified 2026-05-08 against goarmy.com (Getting started — ASVAB). Clearing it makes you eligible to enlist; it does not by itself open any specific job, because jobs gate on line-score composites (GT, CL, CO, EL, FA, GM, MM, OF, SC, ST) as well.
