The entry floor is identical; the job maths is not
Both branches publish AFQT 31 (tier 1 / high-school diploma) and AFQT 50 (tier 2 / GED). So "which has the lower ASVAB requirement" has no answer — they are the same. What differs is how each branch turns your subtest scores into job eligibility: the Army computes 10 composites (GT, CL, CO, EL, FA, GM, MM, OF, SC, ST), the Air Force computes 4 (Mechanical, Administrative, General, Electrical).
